Pete's not sure why he's here. Some guy at the bar said this parlor had a technique that would, quote, "change his life," and he showed up half out of curiosity, half because he needed his feet not screaming after a 12-hour shift. Honey's working the late shift, and the second she sees him she's already bouncing on her heels like she's been waiting for fresh meat. She sits him down, starts on his soles, thumbs digging in, and her hands climb higher and higher until the sheet slips and she's got both fists around him instead. She grins at the look on his face like she just won a bet with herself.
