After pedaling halfway across town, Renato and Nicole kicked their bikes into the grass and turned their attention to something that doesn’t need a helmet. Nicole peeled off her shoes and shoved her toes toward Renato’s face like she was handing in homework. He caught the cue, went down to his knees and started sucking on each toe the way some people eat frosting off a mixer blade. Between slurps he flashed a grin that said ‘this is dessert and no one’s calling the dentist.’ Not wanting to be left out, Nicole lay back and hiked her skirt, hips inviting his mouth like an open window on a hot day. Renato traded her pink polish for pinker skin and gave her the kind of slow, sweeping tongue attention that makes knees forget they’re supposed to work. Panting and grinning, Nicole grabbed his shorts, tugged, and flipped him onto the blanket. He slid inside her in one slick thrust. They rocked like the bikes were still moving—fast, ridiculous, sticky—chasing every little extra thrill while their helmets watched from the grass like shocked chaperones.
