Topless except for those skinny white jeans, Kaisa perches on the couch and lacquers her toes. She catches Kristof’s eye and doesn’t look away. Once the polish is dry she stands, hips swaying, and brushes past him. When she returns, she’s traded the bare feet for shiny black heels and gets straight to the point. Kristof grins, cups each heel like he’s handling porcelain, then leans in to kiss and lick every painted toe as if it’s the best idea he’s had all day.
