Emma and Anna hustle around the table, fixing sheets and lining up oils like they’re racing the clock. Queenie breezes in, already on her phone. “Sorry, gotta cut this in half,” she sighs, waving the device like it proves her point. Ever since the big promotion, she says, full sessions have been a luxury she can’t afford. The two blondes and brunette swap a quick glance. They’ve seen this script before. They press a little—missed massages mean missed benefits—but Queenie’s already halfway to the door. Emma flashes a grin. “What if we both work on you? Two sets of hands, one full hour squeezed into thirty minutes.” Queenie pauses, shrugs, drops her robe. The three women sync up fast. Warm palms glide over shoulders, calves, the soft weight of Queenie’s breasts as she melts into the table. Tension starts to leak out in long sighs. Between strokes, Emma and Anna coax out the truth: the corner office isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Queenie admits she’s miserable. She decides the rest of the afternoon can wait.
