The room smells like stale coffee and trouble. Seven women sit in a circle under flickering fluorescent lights. Christy, Kimmy, Hime, Madi, Vanessa, Victoria, and Ember all turn toward Lucas, the moderator who keeps promising today’s meeting will stay on track.
