Victoria got stuck covering a last-minute lunch meeting instead of sharing sandwiches with Lilly in the sun. She called Lilly, apologized, sighed, and rolled right back into the grind. Clothing peeled away one lazy button at a time until bare skin met the picnic blanket. Lilly’s fingers traced Victoria’s spine, her mouth tasting apples still dusted with orchard sweetness, every touch a flicker of sunlight they’d missed. No ticking clock, no empty desk waiting. Just two bodies tasting every bite they’d been denied—slow, messy, unbothered.
