Ember and Chanel are finally alone, planning to make good use of the time. Chanel grins, letting Ember know she slid a vibrating plug in before the date and now hands over her phone—remote app already open. They barely get started before the doorbell rings. It’s their neighbor Codi, scheduled for a fencing chat, and Ember completely spaced on telling Chanel. Trapped, they sit through it while Ember quietly plays with the slider, teasing Chanel mid-discussion. Chanel bites her lip, struggles to nod like she’s listening, and Codi’s sharp enough to piece it together. Once the lightbulb hits, Codi folds her arms, waits for the awkward beat, then shrugs with a smirk: “Fine. Let’s do the threesome so we can all focus and finish the meeting.”
