Zariah had the kind of day where everything fights you. Coffee, traffic, missed calls. Sophia watched her friend slump onto the couch and declared tonight needed lipstick and loud music. "Clubbing fixes these things," she said, already unzipping her own dress, "and if you flirt with someone pretty, it’ll seal the deal." Zariah laughed, which felt good, so she let Sophia fix her makeup and throw her a tiny black skirt. She was tugging her pantyhose into place when a tiny thread gave out. The rip bloomed across her thigh in one quick silver flash. "Of course," she sighed, staring at the wreckage. "I’ll just sit this one out. The couch clearly wants me." Sophia crouched, finished the tear with both hands, and opened a perfect window to smooth, warm skin underneath. She tilted her head, grin crooked. "Stay in with me then," she murmured, fingertips brushing the lace edge of Zariah’s panties. "We’ll skip the line and go straight to dessert." Outside, the city pulsed with bass.
