Lily LaBeau is upstairs with her three bridesmaids trying on ivory satin dresses. The second she steps into the next room to swap shoes, Karina slides in behind her. “Forgot my clutch,” Karina says, eyes flicking low, then she’s on her knees, hands already bunching Lily’s slip. Ivy and Octavia catch on quick, each waiting their turn with worse excuses. When all three finally realize they’ve been circling the same prey, the bickering cracks open—Karina hisses, “I was here first,” while Octavia crosses her arms and Ivy snaps, “She’s the bride, not a chew toy.” Lily claps once, playful grin flashing. “Girls, easy fix.
