Antonella Morena shows up at the house and Draven Navarro answers the door, already grinning like he knows something she doesn’t. He waves her in and they stand in the hallway while he asks about her day, her name, all the usual small talk. His eyes keep slipping—down the zipper of her jacket, then back to her mouth when she answers. Antonella feels it happen and starts to smirk, because subtlety left the building two minutes ago. Draven clocks the change in her expression, doubles down. “Dangerous outfit for just walking in the door,” he says, low. She shrugs like he didn’t just strip her with one sentence, and yet her pulse answers anyway. She came here for work. Now she’s wondering how fast the clothes will hit the floor instead.
