Katerina’s mom always handles the homeschooling, but she’s somewhere over the Atlantic for work. So Lucia Rossi—tall, thirties, curves that throw you off balance—steps in for the day. Katerina sits across the kitchen table pretending to stare at algebra while her eyes drift to the line of Lucia’s thighs wrapped in those soft cotton shorts. Sweat beads on her lip. She has it bad. Lucia stands, says she needs coffee, leaves for the next room. The second she’s gone, Katerina flips her laptop open, thumbs flying for the answer sheet she bookmarked last night. Fingers shaking, she pastes the first question, hits search. “Found what you were looking for?” Lucia’s voice floats over her shoulder. The doorway frames her like a damn postcard. Katerina slams the laptop shut, cheeks on fire. “Look,” Katerina blurts, words tumbling, “if you just don’t tell my mom, I can… make it worth your while.” Her voice drops. “You’re into girls, right? Rough girls? I’ll let you do whatever you want—just don’t snitch.” Lucia’s brow arches, then she steps closer, lips curving into the kind of grin that says two can play. “Bold offer, kid.” She leans down, breath warm against Katerina’s ear. “Lock the front door. Strip, then get on the table. We’re seeing how convincing you can be.”
