Sage puts the box in Victoria's hands and waits for that little spark of curiosity to hit. She opens the lid and pulls out shiny black stilettos with thin straps that scream trouble. She slides them on, walks a few steps in front of the mirror, and turns just so the curve of her ass catches the light. Something snaps between them. Sage grabs her waist, bends her over the back of the couch, and yanks her skirt up like the expensive fabric owes him money. The shoes stay on. So does the grin on his face when he pushes inside her and the heel of her left foot lifts off the floor with every thrust. Victoria lets out a laugh, breathy, almost a dare, and rocks back to meet him harder. He digs his fingers into her hips, mutters something about how good those damn shoes look when she's bent over, and keeps going until the only sounds are skin, heels clicking, and Victoria swearing his name.
