Regina got her license barely two months ago, so slamming the gas still feels shiny and new. She plants her feet on the pedals like they're calling her name, especially the accelerator. Her toes curl, wiggle, press—just the tips at first, then just her big toe jabbing the thing to see how far it sticks.
