New nail polish

Abbie Cat worked those soles raw this morning hunting down the perfect pair of heels, and okay she grabbed the clingy dress too, but the nail polish hunt nearly did her in. You ever hunt one lousy shade that actually matches the person wearing it? Clock is ticking, your feet are already barking, and every bottle looks like the same oversaturated scream. She finally landed on the right one though, and it was worth the slog across town. Never seen anybody this giddy over ten toes. When she sprawls on the couch later, fresh polish gleaming under the lamplight, she lifts one bare foot straight to her mouth and gives each nail a slow, wet lick.
