Paperwork sits untouched on the desk. Officer Miya Stone's had enough. She flashes Preston a wicked grin, kicks her shiny boots off, then slides one foot along his thigh while the other gets to work higher up. No one else sees it coming, least of all the guy at the other end of the desk suddenly very interested in what his uniform can't hide. Miya's foot, smooth and persistent, catches exactly the right rhythm, sole flexing, toes curling.
