Slender Feet

Alice looks breakable. One deep breath might tip her sideways. But tuck that skinny body close enough and the heat kicks in fast—hard and sudden, like somebody flipped the switch on a space heater nobody ordered. Every roll in the sheets turns into a party she refuses to end early; she laughs, she bites her lip, she refuses to let a single second slip by un-squeezed. Still, her absolute sweet spot? When she slips those long, pretty feet into the mix. They’re slender, pale, and improbably sure of themselves, and once she gets going with them the rest of her seems to hum like an over-caffeinated motor.
