Gizelle's killing time, counting ceiling tiles, waiting on Jayden Cole to punch out for the day. The minute Jayden strolls in she starts unloading the day's gossip like a one-woman talk show. Gizelle decides flirty is her only weapon and aims straight for Jayden's soft spots. Just when the kettle's getting ready to whistle, one of Jayden's chatty pals rings. Gizelle doubles down—hands wandering, lips teasing—trying to hijack Jayden's focus. Jayden’s friend chatters away, blissfully unaware that Jayden is now breathing in half-second bursts and biting down on replies. The excuses come faster than a traffic cop: wrong show on the TV, allergy sneezes, whatever keeps the phone line from going cold. Still, nothing short of total surrender will move Jayden off that call, so Gizelle steps it up, tongue and fingers working overtime until Jayden caves, blurts some jumbled goodbye, and finally tosses the phone away.
