Little Puck rolls up to the resort in her black sundress and sees Victor and his mom, Sophia, waving her over like they own the parking lot. Sophia clocks the bare ring finger and blurts out the divorce question loud enough for half the lobby to hear. Little Puck smiles through clenched teeth, then turns to Victor and asks if he can haul her luggage upstairs. The kid says sure, all chivalry and suntan, so off they go. Soon as the door clicks, Little Puck spins and crowds him against the wall, lips on his ear, hands already busy under his shirt. She rips the shorts clean off him, spins around, and bends over the bed in one move. Victor gets the hint, grabs her hips, and slams into her hard enough to make the headboard bang the wall.
